We Already Have Our Favorite F1 Livery For 2019

It’s testing season in Formula One right now, and that means manufacturers are showing off their new liveries for the first time. The most eye-catching on track so far? It's definitely Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s dark blue and red RB15.

Stealthy and aggressive at the same time with its glowing linework, the RB15 is also equipped with a significant mechanical change: it’s Honda power for Red Bull in 2019. A surprise for some, but lead driver Max Verstappen was happy with the new engine. “I was really excited to jump in the car and as soon as we got going it felt pretty normal. It felt good and we had no problems, so very happy with that,” he said. “Also, the livery is very beautiful, even though it’s only for today.”

Yup, there’s the catch with this amazing paint scheme. As usual with their testing reveals, the team has stated that this bold look is a “one-off” and the car will likely revert to their signature colors at the season opening Australian Grand Prix in March. So for more of the new car in action while sporting our favorite (albeit temporary) livery of the season, visit Red Bull’s official site which has all the goods from their filming day at Silverstone.
