This New F1 Docuseries on Netflix Looks Pretty Interesting

As part of a push to bring Formula 1 to a new and younger audience, the sporting body has given Netflix unprecedented access to produce a new docuseries, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, which premieres on March 8.

The executive producer of Senna is behind the ten-part series, so you can expect to see the drama that goes with the grit and technological wizardry of the most high-end racing series in the world.

The series will cover each part of the 2018 season from the opener in Melbourne until the final race in Abu Dhabi but a possible downer is that Mercedes and Ferrari are not included in the series at all, after reportedly asking for a different set of terms. It’ll be pretty weird to not have the championship contenders in there but with the other eight teams giving the film crew all access, we still think it’s going to be a very interesting watch-whether you're already a fan of the sport or a newcomer looking for an action-packed stream on a late-night.
