Classes are in session once again as Tuason Racing School, together with BMW Motorrad Philippines, are bring back the renowned California Superbike School (CSS). Now on its fourth year, the comprehensive motorcycle school was first started by its founder, motorbike racing guru Keith Code, in 1976.
The school offers a step-by-step bike riding skills program offered in four levels, ranging from introductory skills (Level 1) to professional one-on-one coaching (Level 4). Levels are broken down into five classroom and practical sessions. The school aims to provide an ideal instructor-to-student ratio of 5:1. This becomes 1:1 on Level 4.
In addition to the standard Superbike School, for the first time, TRS-CSS Philippines is now offering Code R.A.C.E. (Race and Competition Experience), an advanced program that provides racer training under competitive conditions. Unlike the regular Superbike School classes, the program offers a 2:1 student:coach ratio for more thorough personal attention and immediate feedback. Code R.A.C.E. The classes will teach race starts, braking and downshifting, and gaining and defending race positions.
As in the past years, the Philippine edition of the California Superbike School and Code R.A.C.E. will be taught by Australia-based CSS instructors, led by Steve Brouggy.
