New Racer Alert! Alex Brown Joins the Formula V1 Grid

We’ve got a lot of new competitors for the 2019 season and this young karting champ is looking forward to showing what he's got in a V1 car.

Alex Brown is a Fil-Singaporean 16-year-old racing student who has been on track since he was 8-or literally half his life. With four karting championships under his belt-most recently winning the Junior Category of X30 Southeast Asian karting in 2017 and he has raced in Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Macau, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, and England. Brown is joining FV1 to reach the next level in his career.

“It fulfills my two goals of the year. One: I really want to race in Philippines, and two: because I want to transition to cars in preparation for any racing series in the future. Hopefully, one day I can achieve my goal and race in the World Endurance Championship! I have also heard very good feedback about Formula V1 and its organizer, JP Tuason, therefore I am very excited for this season.”

Could he be making the trip to Suzuka at the end of the year? We’re looking forward to seeing Brown on track in the first leg!
